The Highest Man in England

We’re delighted to post that David went to the highest point in England on Wednesday.

David is partaking in the National Three Peaks 24 hour challenge on 28 July 2020 with our friend Pete Rowan. Both David and Peter are raising money for the homeless charity Crisis.

Along with David’s son Jack, and Peter’s sister B, they reached the top of Scafell and returned back in a respectable 5 hours and 30 minutes.

The mountain at 3281 feet and around a 6 mile walk is a heavy hike which has been a personal achievement for David. Only two months ago he weighed in at 121kg and having not taken any decent form of exercise for years would have had no chance of reaching the summit then.

So onwards and upwards. We look forward to posting when David and Pete undertake the Three Peaks of Ben Nevis, Scafell, and Snowdon in 24 hours.

If you believe that what David and Peter are doing for charity is worth a denotation, however small, then here is the link for more information.
